General Login questions.

 

1. Question: Why didn't I get a password when I signed up for my account?

Answer: We are in the progress of updating our email systems; causing some emails to go to your junk mail. If the email isn't in your junk mail, please make sure your cookies are enabled and try to login again.

 

2. Question: Why can't I log in when I enter my username and password?

Answer: Your inability to login could be associated with many different issues on your computer.

a) Spyware on your computer could have corrupted the web browser you are using. To scan your computer for spyware, go to http://www.lavasoft.com

b) Your security settings could be too high. You have to allow the site to use cookies, otherwise it will not work. Please make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

c) Your account has been deleted during our review process. Please check your email inbox for a notice regarding this matter.

d) The login information that you are using is incorrect. Please make sure you typed in the right username and password as written in the email.

You may want to try logging in from a different computer. If you are able to do so, then it would confirm that it is not an issue with the site.

You can also try clearing the cache and history of your web browser then rebooting your computer.

 

3. Question: How do I change my profile, username or password?

Answer: You can change your information by clicking on 'My Account' on the top menu bar. You can make any changes you'd like to your account from that page.

 

4. Question: If I forgot my password or username, what do I do?

Answer: Simple, click here for our automated password/username lookup form.

Note: If you recently made a change to your email address, our administrators will verify the new address by changing your password and sending the new password to the new email address.

1. Question: Is it really free?
Answer: Yes, you get Standard Membership for free:- free registration, free add placement, free photo submission, free searching of members profiles and free receipt of messages.

 

2. Question: Is it safe?

Answer: Your safety and confidentiality is our primary concern. Cupid operates using a confidential e-mail system to ensure that your identity remains anonymous. In this way your e-mail address and all contact details are private. (Contact is via a username so only you can reveal your identity or any other personal contact details, if and when you are sure that you want to.

 

3. Question: How do I find a user that lives in my area?

Answer: To search in a specific area, you have to click on 'search' on the top menu bar and then you can look in the city and state, or country that you want.

 

4. Question: I'm looking for a specific person. How do I do that?

Answer: If you are looking for a specific person, you can use the advanced search option (only for paying users).

 

5. Question: What can I do as a free member?

Answer: As a free member you can read messages received from other members, you can search for profiles, you can send arrows (40 per day), you can set your pictures to be viewed only by friends, you cana view other members pictures, you can enter the chat, also you can protect your pictures by using a password.

 

6. Question: What can I do with a Gold membership?

Answer: -you can initiate private chat session (99 per day),
-you can read messages,
-you can search profiles,
-you can send messages (99 per day),
-you can send readable messages (99 per day),
-you can send arrows (99 per day),
-you can set friends only photo,
-you can enter chat,
-you can add photo comments,

7. Question: What can I do with a trial membership?

Answer: (This is available for 3 days)
-you can initiate private chat session (20 per day),

-you can send readable messages (10 per day),

-you can set friends only photo,

8. Question: What ca I do with a Credit membership?

Answer: You can:
-you can initiate private chat session for 0.05$,
-you can read messages for 0.07$,
-you can search profiles for 0.05$,
-you can send messages for 0.15$,
-you can send readable messages for 0.20$,
-you can send arrows for 0.10$,
-you can set friends only photo for 0.05$,
-you can enter chat for 0.05$,
-you can add photo comments for 0.15$,
-you can add profile comments for 0.01$,
-you can set password protected photo for 0.05$,
-you have profile view history for 0.05$.

 

9. Question: Why does my profile keep on getting rejected?

Answer: Our review personal rejects all the profiles that:
- your profile contains information like telephone numbers, email addresses or links to other websites;
- your ad contains advertising material of some sort;
- you are trying to register using a banned I.P. address;
- you have more then one account from the same I.P. address (you are trying to make clone accounts);
- your account information can't be real (eg.: exagerating with the description)
Please check your profile before clicking submit.

 

10. Question: Why does my photos keep on getting rejected?
Answer: Our review personal rejects all the profiles that:
- indistinguishable face (we cannot clearly see your face);
- it is clearly that you do not appear in the photo(s) (landscapes, celebrities, drawings, etc);
- your photo(s) has a message added (phone number, email address, other website address);
- group photos are not accepted;
- your photo doesn't match your profile (eg.: photo of a man on a woman's profile);
- your photo is too small;
- your photo's quality is too poor;
- your photo wasn't uploaded correctly, please try again;
- free users can't upload photos with nudity and sexually content;

 

Billing and membership problems.

 

1. Question: Are the paying methods safe?

Answer: All our payment methods are 100% secure and we offer 100% refund in case of any problems with the system!

 

2. Question: Are there other payment methods that i can use?

Answer: There are several alternative payment methods available if you would like to purchase one type of membership. We accept most of the payment methods so please contact Customer support for more details.
